Our journey began in 2016 with a simple but memorable idea: a purple food truck and a love for perogies. The name "Purple Perogy" was born, a fun and catchy way to reflect our Ukrainian roots and vibrant personality. People still ask about the name—and we love the compliments!

In 2018, Tyson and Paige joined the team, turning the restaurant and food truck into a true family affair. Yes, there’s always a Lastiwka providing service! We’re proud to be Sherwood Park’s only family-owned Ukrainian restaurant, offering authentic flavours passed down through generations. From our seasonal food truck and catering services to school hot lunches and fundraising programs, we bring the rich, comforting taste of Ukrainian cuisine to every plate.
